RESOLUTION NO. 02 Series of 2021

“A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE BIDS AND AWARDS COMMITTEE (BAC) OF

THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN OF BRGY. TANATO CITY OF BALANGA SK.”

WHEREAS, Procuring Entity, shall conduct its procurement activities pursuant to

Republic Act (RA) No. 9184 and its implementing rules and regulations (IRR), as
provided in Sections 8(1) and 20(a) of the IRR of RA No. 10742 or SK Reform Act.

WHEREAS the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) shall be responsible for
ensuring that the Procuring Entity abides by the standards set forth by the Republic Act.
9184 and its implementing rules and regulations known as the Government
Procurement Act provides for the establishing of a Bids and Awards Committee (BAC).

WHEREAS, Pursuant to the provisions of RA No. 9184 known as the

Government Procurement Reform Act, I, MARIA NINA M. ANZALDO , SK Chairperson
of Barangay Tanato, City of Balanga, Province of Bataan, shall be the Head of the
Procuring Entity (HoPE), do hereby order and designate the following as members of
the Sangguniang Kabtaan Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) its BAC secretariat and
Technical Working Group (TWG) including other relevant procurement personnel are
sent to attend Government Procurement Police Board (GPBB) to wit;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Hon. Mary Joy D. Del Rosario duly seconded
by All members be it;
 HEREBY RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved by the Sangguniang Kabataan,
Barangay Tanato that the Bids and Awards Committee be established with the following
composition and functions:

II. FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 Advertise and/or post the invitation bid.

 Conduct pre-procurement and pre-bid conferences.
 Determine the eligibility of prospective bidders, receive bids, conduct the
evaluation of bids and undertake post-qualification proceedings.
 Recommend award of contracts to the head of the Procuring Entity or its duly
authorized representative.
 Perform such other functions as mandated for under RA 9184
 RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED to forward copies of the resolution
to concerned authorities for their information and action.
