Scientific Writing Workshop
21st October 2021 & 22nd October 2021

Purpose:

The aim of this workshop is intended to write quality research papers by Medical /
Dental / Paramedical researchers finding gaps in the existing healthcare setups and
convert Postgraduate research projects (Thesis / Dissertations) into publishable
research manuscripts in reputed peer reviewed journals by maintaining good ethical
standards.

Workshop Framework

This is a two day interactive hands-on workshop that is aimed to prepare the
participants to draft a first class research manuscript. The participants are highly
encouraged to bring their completed research project’s accompanying data that
would be suitable for a publication. During the workshop, participants would be
facilitated to draft their manuscript writing through interactive sessions and complete
the remaining manuscript write-up for peer reviewed publication.

✓ How to compose Title, Abstract, Introduction, Materials & Methods, Results
and discussion
✓ Interpreting data Tables and Figures

Learning Methods:

The learning methods include lectures on technical inputs, choosing appropriate

statistics for practical data sets, familiarizing tools for data analysis and drafting the
manuscript for publication.

Who can Apply:

Medical / Dental / Paramedical healthcare professionals who have completed research

projects and have datasets that would be suitable for publications. The participants
should have the basic knowledge on Research Methodology and Biostatistics. The
participants are highly encouraged to bring their own laptops.
How to apply: (Registration)

• Registration is limited to 20 participants.

• Please ensure the availability of seats before submitting your registration fee.
• Registration fee is Rs.2360/- (including GST 18%) for each candidate.
