The blue striped high- power lens can magnify up to 40x and the low power lens can magnify up to 10x 4) Stage It supports the slide and enables light to pass through the sample and on its way to the objective. 5) Diaphragm It controls the passage of light and it could rotate to how bright it is. 6) Base It holds the microscope and its electronics together. 7) Power switch It helps the microscope to turn on and off. 8) Light source It illuminates the sample to help the people see. 9) Fine Focus knob It refines the focus of the given specimen. 10) Coarse Focus knob It moves the stage up and down. 11) Arm It holds down the lenses, mirrors, and body tube together. 12) Eyepiece This is where one could see the enlarged product of the given sample.
