Reflection Questions

1. In at least one paragraph, which career category did your survey responses reveal?
Discuss whether you agree or disagree with the results of the survey and why.
2. In at least one paragraph, which of these two career paths is more interesting to you? In
your response, be sure to address the following:
○ factors that influenced your choice, like family concerns, housing, or finances
○ how your choice may change over time
○ how this career path compares to the future job you had in mind before the
survey

3. In at least one paragraph, how do the potential costs and benefits of each career path
affect your choice?

1. In my survey the career category I was given was realistic, and I can agree with the
survey because I don’t want to be boxed in an office. It just sounds groggy and not worth
it so I just don't see myself working anywhere else.

2. Out of the two career paths I was more interested in being a mechanic because It wont
put me in student debt, It will but it wont put me too deep where I have to pay it off for
the rest of my life, And another reason I’m interested in this path is because the benefits
if i wanna switch jobs, Everything with i learn i can use it somewhere else with
mechanical skill

3. The cost and benefits of both career paths affected my choice because being a
mechanic i can do the minimum and still get a job and have it enhance overtime, And as
a computer system analyst i have to go to college and i have to pay a lot more money in
the end i will be able to pay off student debt in a reasonable time because the job pays
really well but, I would rather have a more enjoyable job.
