SUPREME PUPILS GOVERNMENT ELECTION

Name of Activity: Supreme Pupil Government Election

Objectives/Agenda:
A. Orientation on the procedure of the SPG Election
B. Filing of the Certificate of Candidacy
C. Campaign Period for the SPG Election
D. Election Proper
E. Oath Taking Ceremony

Highlights of the Activity:

Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 11 s. 2016, the following activities were conducted by
San Isidro Elementary School, facilitated by the SPG/SSG COMELEC.
To prepare pupils for the coming election, a short Orientation was given to all pupils.
The Filing of Candidacy was done last February 22, 2017. There were two parties involved in the
filing. The Certificate of Candidacy was then evaluated, and the Official List of Candidates were announced.
To boost the pupils’ confidence in advocating their agendas and platforms, the campaign period took
place on February 26-27, 2018.
The Election proper took place on March 2, 2017 and the winners were then announced right away
considering there were only 102 pupils who voted.
The designation of the SPG Adviser was given by Dindo A. Monil, School-in-charge.
The Oath Taking Ceremony of the newly elected officers happened last March 17, 2017, at the
flagpole area conducted after the flag raising ceremony.
