8. A project is estimated to cost Rs. 7,50,000/- with a timeline of 60 days. The Manager
while preparing the dashboard fills the following information – CO3

c. Actual costs spent so far is Rs. 2,25,000/-

Calculate the following – CV, CPI, SV, SPI, EAC, ETC, TCPI, CR with proper
interpretation.

• Minimum of 1500-2500 words

One of Management Institute introduced capstone project in their course curriculum for
their autonomous course for the students and they must submit three projects in
consultation with the company / company’s student has chosen to work with for these
projects. The first project is on CSR, the next one in on General Management, and the
third one is on the field of their specialization. This project is a part of their curriculum
for the final year. Students needs to submit all the three projects by 15th April in the 6th
Trimester in hardbound copies to the institute. The zero date for the start of the project
is 15th November in 5th Trimester.

a. List down the main activities, which are required to be done to complete the three
projects.
b. For each work package, estimate the time and sequence the activities to complete
the project. Find out the duration, critical path, and critical activities.
c. As a student if you are unable to meet the above deadlines, which activities will you
compress? The management of institute has given a clear instruction that no project
is going to be accepted after 15th April.
d. Students must complete and submit all the three projects to the institute on time
without compromising quality of the work.
e. What are the minor and major risks as a student you envisage during the execution?
What steps will you keep in mind to mitigate the same?
