S/W defined DF system
• DF algorithms and S/W are loaded on to the RAID 5000 servers with multi-
core multi-threaded operation to provide real-time DF estimation performance.

• Unique high performance signal detection mechanism which is capable of

detecting signals at very low SNRs serves as the front end to DF algorithms.

• We adopt Phase correlative interferometry, Amplitude based methods, and

also super resolution direction finding algorithms like MUSIC and its variants,
providing high degrees accuracy with multiple signal AOA estimation.

• The recorded signal I/Q data over multiple phase coherent channels can be
operated upon by any selection of algorithms, depending on bearing accuracy
and scenario requirements, which can be made resilient to low SNR and
multipath rich multi-emitter environments.

• System calibration and array manifold computations are all incorporated on

the server, and the algorithms can be customized to user requirements.
