Accountastic Bingo
Background
JPIA-CLSU Chapter aims to promote academic excellence by adopting measures to foster
educational advancement in the field of Accountancy. In line with this, the activity entitled
“Accountancy Festival 2022: Accountastic Bingo” offers academic competence in terms of the
major course subjects of the Accountancy Department. All of the students of BSAC and BSMA
are allowed to join this activity. It will test their knowledge and competitiveness while also
having the chance to enjoy the Accounting Festival because of using one of the all-time-favorite
Filipino card games, the BINGO card, as their answer sheet. Furthermore, this event promotes
student development and being globally competitive in their field of profession thus, serves as a
practice as one of the future accounting professionals and creates a good impact on the economy.

Qualifications
The event is open to all students from first year to fourth year students currently enrolled in BS
in Accountancy and BS in Management Accounting for the Academic Year 2021 –
2022 in CLSU.
The topics covered in the Accountastic Bingo are those from the different subjects covered in
CPA Licensure Examination (Taxation, Management Advisory Services, Financial Accounting
and Reporting, Advanced Financial Accounting and Reporting, Auditing, and Regulatory
Framework for Business Transactions) they have taken up.
Contest Rules and Mechanics
1. Players must be properly registered. Registration shall be done through the link provided
by the activity coordinators. https://forms.gle/HHjSmGmLyzDW1wDc7 The players are
required to make their own bingo cards and to pay a registration fee of Php 10 in order to
be officially registered.
2. In making their own Bingo cards, the organizers will present a total of 75 items. 15 items
for each section of B, I, N, G, and O. They will choose five for B-section, five for I-
section, four for N-section, five for G-section, and five for O-section. The participant
cannot put the same item in his/her card. There should be no repeating item that will be
seen in the card.
3. Players are advised to be at the designated place at least 5 minutes before the time
schedule.
4. Each player must bring with them their self-generated BINGO cards with 24
words/phrases of their choice.
5. The event will be conducted virtually via Streamyard. The link to the online platform will
be sent through email or group chat to the players. If they fail to receive the link, they
may contact the activity coordinators in-charge.
6. Late players shall be ALLOWED to join the event. However, he/she shall no longer be
allowed to play the round/s he/she missed.
7. The event shall comprise of three rounds:
i. Round 1- Diagonal
With each round having their own different prizes; the harder the level to strike the bingo,
the higher the amount of the cash prize will be.
Diagonal
1. All players who are properly registered will all first participate in the Diagonal round of
the Bingo. A player will win if he/she gets 15 covered squares in a diagonal row.
2. The host/s of the game is/are the one that will interpret the questions regarding
accounting, and the players’ job is to mark the square of the correct answer.
3. Once a player/s gets 15 covered squares in a diagonal row, they can comment on the
platform where the Bingo event is held, that they got it.
4. The Executive Committee shall then check the player’s/players’ card, and if it’s proven
to be a winning card, then
5. The player/s will receive the specific prize for that round.
Vertical
1. After the Diagonal round, all players who are properly registered including the previous
round’s winner/s will proceed to the Vertical round of the Bingo. A player will win if
he/she gets 15 covered squares in a vertical row.
2. The host/s of the game is/are the one that will interpret the questions regarding
accounting, and the players’ job is to mark the square of the correct answer.
3. Once a player/s gets 15 covered squares in a vertical row, they can comment on the
platform where the Bingo event is held, that they got it.
4. The Executive Committee shall then check the player’s/players’ card, and if it’s proven
to be a winning card, then
5. The player/s will receive the specific prize for that round.
Blackout
1. After the Diagonal and Vertical rounds, all players who are properly registered
including the previous round’s winner/s will then proceed to the final round of the Bingo,
which is the Blackout round. A player will win if he/she covers the entirety of the
squares of his/her bingo card.
2. The host/s of the game is/are the one that will interpret the questions regarding
accounting, and the players’ job is to mark the square of the correct answer.
3. Once a player/s covers the entirety of the squares of his/her bingo card, they can
comment on the platform where the Bingo event is held, that they got it.
4. The Executive Committee shall then check the player’s/players’ card, and if it’s proven
to be a winning card, then
5. The player/s will receive the jackpot prize for the Bingo.
1. The Executive Committee shall be vested with the exclusive power to revise and amend
the implementing Rules and Regulations.
2. Any amendments to or revisions to this implementing Rules and Regulations may be
proposed by any member upon a written request of such member, stating the reasons
thereto.
3. The Academic Committee Chairperson must initially review any request for amendments
and revisions as well as proposed amendments then to be forwarded to the Executive
Officers for discussions, editing and final approval and to be noted by the Adviser.
4. The Executive Officers shall have the rights to debunk any proposed revisions and
amendments, submitted to them by the Academic Committee Chairperson, which are
deemed unnecessary. The final decision on any inclusions and exclusions to this
implementing Rules and Regulations must be determined by a majority vote of all
Executive Officers in which the Academic Committee Chairperson is included.
5. Amendments to particular provisions in this implementing Rules and Regulations shall be
allowed provided that such amendments will be communicated to stakeholders at least
two weeks before it could take effect.
Separability Clause
If any clause, provision, paragraph or part of this implementing Rules and Regulations shall be
declared unconstitutional or invalid, such judgment shall not affect, invalidate, or impair any
other part hereof, but shall be merely confined to the clause, provision, paragraph or part directly
involved in the controversy in which such judgment has been rendered.
Repealing Clause
Any rule and regulation or resolution or part/s thereof inconsistent with the provisions of this
implementing Rules and Regulations are hereby repealed or modified accordingly.
Effectivity
This Implementing Rules and Regulations shall take effect immediately after its presentation and
approval from the Meeting and of the Office of Students Affairs. The implementing rules and
regulations of the Accountancy Festival 2022: Accountastic Bingo are promulgated in the
Central Luzon State University, Science City of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija this blankth day of April,
2021.
