SUMMARY

• Animation is defined as the act of making something come


alive (realistic).
• In persistence of vision, an object seen by the human eye
remains chemically mapped on the eye’s retina for a brief
time after viewing.
• A series of images that are changed very slightly and very
rapidly is seemingly blend together into a visual illusion of
movement called phi.
• Animation file formats must be compatible with multimedia
authoring software
• Sound inserted to the animation should be timed properly
with the animation project.
• Animation process involves keyframes, tweening, kinematics,
inverse kinematics and morphing.
