Vision
The Vision of NSTP is building up valuable and effective members of Citizen Armed Forces and
National Service Reserved Corps who may serve as agents towards attaining quality of life,
sustaining peace, unity, cooperation and growth of the target communities. NSTP shall be among
the best universities in the world. The Team aspires to be lead accredited student organization
for social transformation. NSTP is a program aimed at enhancing civic consciousness and defense
preparedness in the youth by developing the ethic of service and patriotism while undergoing
training in any of its three (3) program components. Its various components are specially
designed to enhance the youth’s active contribution to the general welfare of the
country. (Section 3, RA 9163). The course mandated by Republic Act No. 9163, otherwise known
as the National Service Training Act of 2001, aims to enhance the civic consciousness of the
students “by developing the ethics of service and patriotism” while undergoing Civic Welfare
Training Service (CWTS). NSTP1 covers topics through big sessions in campus that will tap on
the students’ enthusiasm and idealism for nation-building, leadership and civic involvement.
Combining active reflection in a creative dynamic learning environment, it prepares the students
into actual community service in NSTP 2.

Mission
The Mission of NSTP is to provides capability enhancement for civil welfare geared towards
encouraging youth in improving their skills, knowledge and attitudes on various endeavors
developing their interest in community service and responsiveness in attaining peace towards
nation building. Brain and embrace a sustainable research culture among student’s faculty and
non-teaching staff in support of its academic programs and community extension thrusts.
Develop the talents and potentials of the students towards the practice of professions to be
responsive to the changing local and global industry requirements. Capacitate a community
guided by the university extension program and be a catalyst or social transformation. Develop
a community of God-centered, nationalistic, and globally competitive professionals with
proactive values and attitudes. Providing capability enhancement for civic consciousness and
defense preparedness. Encouraging students in improving their skills, knowledge and attitudes
on various endeavors that will develop their interest in community service. Training students and
target clientele to be more responsive in attaining peace and other development concerns in the
target areas of the university. Providing avenues and opportunities for the students to become
efficient and effective future reservists imbued with good moral values
Goal
The Goal of NSTP is to aimed at enhancing civic consciousness and defense preparedness in the
youth by developing the ethics of service and patriotism while undergoing training in any of its
three program components. The team is united by its commitment to create a positive difference
in the society than developing its members into active and value-driven agents of social
transformation. The NSTP aims to promote and integrate values education, transformational
leadership, spirit of patriotism and nationalism and sustainable social mobilization for youth
development, community building and national security.

Objective
To promote and protect the physical, mental, spiritual, intellectual, and social wellbeing of the
youth. To inculcate patriotism and nationalism in the youth. The primary objective of the NSTP
law is to promote the role of the youth in nation-building. As such, it aims to encourage the youth
to become civic and/or military leaders and volunteers whom could be called upon by the nation
in cases their services are needed. The NSTP aims to promote and integrate values education,
transformational leadership, spirit of patriotism and nationalism and sustainable social
mobilization for youth development, community building and national security. Inculcate among
the students the ideas of patriotism and nationalism, and enhance their involvement in public
and civic oriented activities. Train the student in various fields of endeavor imbued with moral
values that enhance their intellectual, physical, moral, spiritual and social well-being. Produce
service-oriented and responsive students who will be of help to the locality/community.
