ABSTRACT
The Copper based matrix composites on powder metallurgy is one of the prominent and economical route for
development and processing of refractory and reactive metals. This paper focus on the early stage of powder metallurgy route,
used to determine suitable mixing time, compaction pressure and sintering process, which depend upon processing parameters,
selection of matrix and reinforcements. There by to understand the effect of cryogenic temperatures on the mechanical, elastic,
thermal and electrical properties of refractory and reactive material reinforced copper composite at various composition.
