Learning the rights in voter’s education is one of the important things to consider when addressing in every
election, voter and civic education are necessary to ensure that all constituents—men and women alike—
understand their rights, their political system, the contests they are being asked to decide, and how and where to
vote. For an election to be successful and democratic, voters must understand their rights and responsibilities, and
must be sufficiently knowledgeable and well informed to cast ballots that are legally valid and to participate
meaningfully in the voting process., this project will educate the awareness of the youth about their right to vote
and how to exercise and choose the right leader for the country.
As the 1987 Constitution of the Republic of the Philippines – Article V, indicates the right of every people in
the Philippines to vote and choose a leader by their rights to vote. The law does not require citizens to vote, but
voting is a very important part of any democracy. By voting, citizens are participating in the democratic process.
Citizens vote for leaders to represent them and their ideas, and the leaders support the citizens' interests.
Responsibility of citizens is voting. SLU resides the ideals of social involvement as its core value and NSTP
