The document discusses different ways that nature communicates, from birds chirping to trees rustling to waves crashing on the shore. It describes one person's experience listening to birds in the forest and wondering what they were saying to each other. It also ponders whether trees communicate through their leaves and are trying to tell us that we are cutting down too many of them. The document suggests that all living things communicate and may be trying to tell us something, if only we are ready to listen.

Have you ever listened to the nature? How can we understand how birds are communicating between them? And most important, how do I know what my cat wants when she’s meowing? In a sunny day of the last summer, while I was spending the weekend to the mountains I had the chance to spend few hours wondering about the forest. The wind was mildly blowing and several noisy birds were… just talking to each other. What were they saying? I tried to find out but it seems they were complaining about their kids which were playing too much. Or not, it didn't matter anyway, everything was so peaceful that you could hear the trees growing. By the way, how are the trees communicating? What if the leaves rustling in the wind is actually the way the trees are communicating with us? We will not know for sure but I believe they are trying to tell us something. Maybe they are telling us that we are cutting too many of their brothers and soon the forest will be just a memory. Suddenly I saw a small bird that seems to look at me and then chirping in a tree. I wonder if she didn't like my hat and made that publicly. That was not nice because I like my hat, it is quite nice. Suddenly, the chirping became more acute and when I was looking up I saw a hawk getting closer. Hey, thank you for warning me but the hawk is not a threat for me but for you! The day spent in the forest taught me that the nature is communicating not only within itself but also with us. I promised myself to pay more attention to what surrounds us. Another day I was going to the beach with my friends. What about the sea, have you ever just sit still on the seashore and listen? Aren’t the waves telling us….things? Maybe nice stories about Nemo or Dory or just…stories. Or maybe the sea is warning us that we are polluting too much its waters, or maybe is just saying “Hello beautiful!” What if. All living things are communicating and probably are trying to tell us something. Are we ready to listen?
