“Creating the Lean Canvas for your Business Idea”

Activity: Individual

Learning Outcome: Through developing the lean canvas student is able to identify customer
problems and solutions on which she can build a viable business idea. Lean Canvas is an
adaptation of Business Model Canvas by Alexander Osterwalder which Ash Maurya created
in the Lean Startup spirit. Lean Canvas promises an actionable and entrepreneur-focused
business plan. It focuses on problems, solutions, key metrics and competitive advantages.

Details: The students are required to observe a problem which can be converted into a good
business opportunity and develop a 9 block lean canvas.
