I. Objectives: Within a 60-minute period, the students will be able to:
a. Identify the purpose of using MOOC in education
b. Show importance in using the MOOC in the field of education.
c. Use the MOOC way of learning with a purpose.

II. Subject Matter:

Subject Integration: Enrichment and providing significant use and idea about the

Value Integration: Appreciation towards the use Massive Open Online Course

Materials: Web quest (Zunal.com)
III. Lesson Proper:
a. Motivation: Short introduction about how Web quest works.
Presentation of the Quest’s description
b. Review: Showing pictures that shows the different ways of learning.
c. Activity:
The students:
1. Must read the description of the web quest which is all about the MOOC.
2. Must take note of the important details.
3. Will be given 30 minutes to read and to study the selection.

IV. Analysis:
To students:
1. They will be ask of some questions to test how well they were able to understand the
selection.

VI. They will be task to prepare a short skit regarding the use of Massive Open Online
Course with a purpose.
VII. Evaluation:
To students:
1. They will gain 5 points to every purpose of MOOC included in the dialogue of their
skit.
2. For the short skit, they will be graded according to the rubrics, whereas if you will be
able to get the score of 8/10 you will pass the quest.
