recep-tor ACE2 of the target cells. Of interest, convalescent SARS patientsexhibit a neutralizing antibody
response, which is largely directedagainst the spike protein [10]. Previous experience in treatingpatients
with SARS coronavirus (SARS-COV) whose condition con-tinued to deteriorate despite treatment with
ribavirin plus pulsedmethylprednisolone, the convalescent plasma or hyperimmuneimmunoglobulin is
the last resort and proved to be effective inlower mortality and shorten length of hospital stay
