ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT ON CONTEXTUALIZATION


SY 2020-2021

Contextualization is one of the keys of engaging the learners especially in the


lower grades in teaching –learning process wherein the learners can relate and easily
understand their situations on their lesson. It makes the lesson meaningful and
relevant to the learners’ lives by relating the pupils’ context to mathematical content
taught in school.
In response to Division Memorandum no. 172 s. 2020, Nabua East District
coordinator in mathematics identified teacher writers from first to fourth quarter who
teach from grade 1 to grade 3 to contextualize topics/skills to be developed this new
normal of education based from the Most Essential Learning Competencies (MELC).
Mrs. Maria Elsa A. Castañeda was assigned for the third quarter and Mr. Dranreb E.
Beria was assigned for the fourth quarter. They were given soft copies for their
respective topic with the code MQ3B-Gr2-4b and sent back to the district coordinator
for validation of the development team of the Self-Learning Modules or Learning
Activity sheets in the division.
