true Source of light and wisdom,

Give us a keen sense of understanding,
a retentive memory,
and the capacity to grasp things correctly
Grant us the talent of being exact in our explanations,
and the ability to express ourselves with thoroughness and clarity.
Point out the beginning,
direct our progress,
and help us in completion;
