Seahawks lose a heart breaking one 26-17

The Offense struggles to find

It is no mystery the Seahawks offense has
struggled to find consistency all year but
that is mainly due to a promising young
offensive coordinator in Shane Waldron.
However, we can’t just blame it on him as
the players can do a better job executing as
well.
The Seahawks offense through the first
four games of the year were nearly
turnover less as they had 1 on the year.
Against the Rams they had 2 turnovers
which were interceptions both thrown by
Russell Wilson and Geno Smith. These
turnovers proved vital in this game as they
could have easily turned those drives into
touchdowns.
The Seahawks offense managed to have a
decent day with 354 total yards and 17
points. However, on 3rd down they
could’ve been better as they went 4 for 10
on 3rd down. The offensive line did ok and
gave up only 2 total sacks to both Wilson
and Smith. They could’ve also done better
with time of possession as they only had
the ball for 26:57min of the game
compared to the Rams 33:03min. The main
dagger here though was the turnovers. If
they hadn’t turned over the ball and
executed late in the 2nd quarter the
Seahawks would’ve won, the game even
with Russell Wilson being out of the game.
D.K Matcalf was one of the few bright spots for the
Seahawks offense vs the Rams as he scored both of the
Seahawks touchdowns in the entire game.
