Lesson 5: Human freedom

1.Write a short reflection on your experience of privilege after a particularly fruitful moment of
prayer.

"The privilege—

One word with different definitions,

Seven letters with fruitful explanation,

The privilege that we are facing right now has already changed. As plenty of people whose —

Roaring for their privilege — causing chaotic,

Evilness is spreading; ego is now hurting, as our pride — Drifting, all of us down to the ground.
Owning our lives, until now — Millions of missing humanities have been in prison.

We have all experienced it. Freedom to read, walk, sing, and many more. But as for myself — it
is about realizing or experiencing inner peace. It is something that makes those anxious days
disappear. Freedom is finally finding yourself and being able to be contented with everything.

2.Differentiate internal threat to freedom from an external threat.

Threats from internal freedom are; ignorance, inadvertence, fear, bad habits, and addiction.
Threats from external are; achieve our ends and fulfill our desires or interests. These means are
conditions in our environment such as money to pay our way, schools open to all, or accessible
medical resources and personnel.

Inner freedom is the capacity of individuals to assume the responsibility they have, making
conscious adapted decisions. People will have lost their freedom when needs drive their
actions. Therefore, inner freedom is a utopia when instinctive needs, emotional needs, and
social values. A decision can consider as adapted depending on the results of the actions.

Lesson 6: Christian Conscience

1. What does the statement, 'conscience is relational' mean?

Conscience is still relational; it calls the moral agent to account for their public behavior. In
making a judgment, one must have standards on which to base that judgment. As it is the way,
our moral sense and our moral formation come together to inform our actions in the world.

2.Explain the Subjective and Objective Dimensions of Human Conscience.

According to the philosophy— the subjective character of conscience implies that the
motivational force must come entirely from within the individual, as opposed to sanctions from
an external authority — a powerful motivational source by the feelings that conscience
generates in its self-assessment function.

As their research said — Thomas, When people work, they not only choose what they work on,
that is, the objective dimension of work, but they also simultaneously choose themselves, that
is, the subjective dimension of work. Human work remains in the human worker and
determines the subject's quality or value.
