Understanding the Basic concept of ICT

           ICT is an acronym for Information and Communication Technology. It refers to the use of

different technologies that provide access to information through communication. It is similar to

IT (Information Technology), but it mainly focused on various communication devices such as a

computer, cellphone, internet, etc. Understanding the concept of ICT will help us to maximizes

the use of technologies. 

           In my opinion, to fully understand the concept of Information and Communication

Technologies, it is significant to understand the meaning of the three-term that make up the ICT.

Information, it is generally referring to the data which can be recorded, organize, and interpreted,

also described as processed data. Communication is the process of transferring information

between individuals. Technology is a device used in a particular area. The technologies in ICT is

referring to different systems and gadgets used to transmit data such as computers, cellphones,

television, radio, and the internet. 

           After I understand, what is the means of information and communication technology, I

believe that ICT is the use of different communication technology and other devices that we used

as a medium of communication. The most interesting in studying the concept of ICT is how it be

useful in our daily life. It is enabled to communicate with our loved ones where ever they are.

Also learn the concept means equipping us the knowledge about the computer: the parts,

applications, and uses, maintaining the computer in quality conditions. I also believe ICT has a

vital role in education, especially in this situation because the pandemic happens the usual setting

of class transforms into online-classes are required knowledge and skills in computers or devices

and necessary applications.

           I can now see why ICT has become very important to all people and organizations such as

businesses, governments, a non-profit organization, education, and as far as I know to individual.

It enables organizations to make a transaction online through the use of different devices and

internet access. ICT has a substantial impact on the changes in society.
