The covid 19 pandemics have an impact on the changes in the

education system in the Philippines. Halfway through the academic year 2019-

2020, the education system was gradually changing due to pandemics. In the

Philippines, the COVID-19 crisis forced a temporary closure of many institutes. At

that point, the biggest challenge for the Department of Education (DepEd) and

Commission of Higher Education (CHED) and institution is to find ways to

continue the remaining weeks of the school year. The government and the

school administration implement distance learning to ensure the continuity of

the student to learn. At first, students struggle to adopt distance learning. The

biggest changes in education today were driven by distance learning, caused

by the pandemic. Distance learning is an alternative approach and eventually

leads to online learning, correspondence, and blended learning.

approximately 2.2 billion learners and 100 million teachers. In the Philippines
