A note from our new President, Cindy Casaus

I am so blessed to be part of this amazing ministry of mothers and would
like to take just a few moments and share a little about myself. I’m an
Arizona native who grew up in Yuma and I’ve been a parishioner at Corpus
Christi for 17 years where I taught Religious Education for 11 years. I’m
married to David Noble and our daughter Adeline is a third grader at St. John
Bosco Catholic School where I’m a member of the School Advisory Board.
I’m the President of a statewide women’s organization that is focused on
educating and empowering women in the political process. I attended
Arizona State University where I earned a Bachelor of Science of
Accountancy and am the Chief of Operations and Communications at the
Arizona Registrar of Contractors.
I started attending SGC Kids and Family events with Adeline where I met
other mothers and learned more about St. Gerard’s Circle. I was particularly
touched by our mission to provide a welcoming community for mothers and
encourage Catholic women to develop and strengthen our Church
community. I am very excited to serve as your President this year and
grateful to the past Presidents and club members that have been helping me
learn the ropes in my new role. I look forward to a wonderful year and going
on this spiritual journey with you all. I hope that I can share my gift with you
and together we strengthen our commitment to service and grow our St.
Gerard’s Circle ministry.
Thank you to everyone who attended our SGC kickoff meeting on September
3rd! It was wonderful to see so many ladies in attendance and spend time
together. Special thank you to Mindy Chau for organizing the Mass for
Expectant Mothers and to Cheryl Wedell for presenting her “The Gift” mini
retreat. This year we are very excited to have all our members share their
gifts with our group and we are making it very easy for you to do so! As
mentioned at our meeting and in our last newsletter, Programs Chair Cecyll
Lobue is looking for volunteers to present on a topic of your choice at an
upcoming meeting. Please consider sharing your gift by helping at an
upcoming event, with a committee or by signing up to present. I look forward
to seeing you all at our meeting on October 1st!

Body & Spirit. We will also be doing a
small activity to create Blessing  
Bags. These are bags to keep in your
car filled with toiletries to pass out to
the homeless or needy. We are doing
just a small scale activity, so
Children must be at least 1 year old.

From our Charity Committee

Our Parish will be welcoming 8 homeless families

to stay overnight the week of October 3-10.
Volunteers are needed to provide food for their
nightly dinner, as well as help serve, play with the
children, setup/take down. This has always been
such a fun, rewarding event to bring the family to!

Membership Dues - 2021/2022
A reminder that to remain a member of Saint Gerard Circle, we prayerfully
ask that you submit your Membership Form online and pay your
membership dues. Membership dues are $20 this year, and memberships
last from September to May.
