3.1 Substances

Eye contact Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes. If
symptoms persist, call a physician.
Skin contact Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water while removing all contaminated
clothes and shoes. If symptoms persist, call a physician.
Ingestion Induce vomiting, but only if victim is fully conscious. Drink plenty of water. Never give
anything by mouth to an unconscious person. If symptoms persist, call a physician.
Inhalation Move to fresh air in case of accidental inhalation of vapors. If symptoms persist, call a
physician.
Self-protection of the first aider Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing.

Use extinguishing measures that are appropriate to local circumstances and the surrounding environment. Alcohol resistant foam.
Contains organic solvents. Water spray. Dry chemical. Carbon dioxide (CO2).

Standard procedure for chemical fires. Evacuate personnel to safe areas. Evacuate area and fight fire from a safe distance. Wear
self contained breathing apparatus for fire fighting if necessary.

Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer system. Do not allow material to contaminate ground water system. Local
authorities should be advised if significant spillages cannot be contained. Try to prevent the material from entering drains or water
courses. Do not contaminate surface water.
Handling
Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice. Prevent spills
and avoid operations which contaminate clothing and work areas. Do not ingest. Wear personal protective clothing (see section 8).
Storage
