Today our topic is about lines.

Children did you know that the


shapes are created by connecting
lines?
There are different types of lines
depending upon their positions
and shapes.
Look at the lines
(Presenting a visual aids.)

These are Horizontal Lines


~ Looks to their paper
Look at your papers. Your paper has ~Horizontal lines
Horizontal lines. Now let’s draw a
horizontal line.
It starts from up and goes down.

These are Vertical Lines or Standing line

~Vertical lines

These are Slant lines


~Slant lines

All these are call as STRAIGHT LINES.


We use them to create shapes like SQUARE,
RECTANGLE, and TRIANGLE.

These are CURVED LINES ~Curved Lines


We used curved line to draw shapes like
Circle and an Oval.
