raised here in Santo Nino Street, Mati City. I am the only daughter of my parents and the only sister of my four brothers. My mother is Mrs. Bernardita Agbas Iligan, a fulltime housewife. My father, on the other hand, is Mr. Nestor Mapayo Iligan, whose occupation is a tricycle driver. I had finished my junior and senior high school in Mati National Comprehensive High School under the Humanities and Social Sciences strand. Ever since I was still a young dreamer, it was my ambition to become a news reporter. I thought of it as a good and decent job to support my family, while pursuing my passion in journalism. Unfortunately, out of unexpected circumstances, I didn’t get to enroll in my dream course, and landed enrolling in a language program—Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English. Although, teaching is not my first choice when I entered college, I had learned to love and embrace it along the way.
I am into indie-folk band music and that
explains why I love Ben and Ben songs. I also love to dance, which I always do whenever I have spare time in my days. I also love taking pictures of anything that reminds me of nostalgia and golden youth. In most days, I spend my time helping my parents in our small business while doing online classes.
