DISCOUNT CARDS

Page 2 of 17 Assignment
INTRODUCTION
As we all know, there are incentives available, such as discounts on our
bank credit cards and discounts vouchers, so if only Discount cards were
introduced, they will become very popular with charities and
organizations for fundraising, as it is the most effective way to attract
new customers. We may also argue that it is the most effective means of
including small businesses and other industries. . Employees, teachers,
and employers who work hard and can't afford too many luxury goods
can take advantage of these discount cards and use them to purchase
their favorite items as well as they can get discounted medical facility .

FEASIBILITY ANALYSIS

The method of deciding whether a company plan is feasible is known as

feasibility study. It is a preliminary assessment of a company proposal to
determine if it is worth exploring. Feasibility analysis takes the
guesswork out of starting a company (to a degree) and gives an
entrepreneur a better understanding of whether a business idea is
realistic or viable.

o INDUSTRY /TARGET MARKET

FEASILIBILTY ANALYSIS
Page 3 of 17 Assignment
Discount cards are becoming more common, partially due to
the high costs of private health care and insufficient access to
it, as well as the high costs of goods on the market. In reality,
some small businesses and individuals have switched to
discount cards after abandoning their debit cards because
they provide discounts on a limited number of goods and
services. People with preexisting conditions who are unable
to afford individual insurance or are only available for very
expensive plans can find discount cards appealing.
Cardholders are exempt from medical underwriting, pay the
same rate regardless of fitness or age, and are not required to
pay a high price for premium goods.
Industry Attractiveness: We target people in
industry, and they are the main consumers in industry if
we collect anyone in industry from seller to consumer
to manufacture and client. According to popular belief,
markets that are decentralized (fragmented) rather than
centralized (concentrated)are more appealing.
1-Concentrated :
In a concentrated industry, there are dominated
competitors, making it impossible to join and the
current dominant players hold a significant share of the
market, making it difficult to gain consumer share.
Second, they have built an ecosystem conducive to the
formation of monopolies.
2- Fragmented markets:
With low barriers to entry and quick entry; these
industries do not have any laws, and it is simple to find
buyers and clients there.
Target market Attractiveness: It is difficult to
obtain a target market rather than an industry market
because it necessitates concentrated attention, and it is
sometimes difficult to locate customers who wish to use
or avail of the services or goods that we are
introducing. However, we must start with a small piece
of the target market that we are working on, as we will
learn a lot about it by pursuing the some footsteps of
Page 4 of 17 Assignment
our competitors .
we can say the discount cards can have industry
attractiveness because they are not focusing on one
single market but they are focusing on many consumers
as Employees, teachers, and hardworking staff will
benefit from these discount cards, since many
individuals are having financial difficulties as a result
of Covid, and discount cards can help them save
money. We can say it is more of a fragmented industry
because very less discount cards are offering discount
on products as well as on medical on same time and it is
easily to find consumers because many people are into
saving up more money due to covid
o ORGANIZATIONAL FEASIBILITY
ANALYSIS :
It is the human capital component that tells us what items are
needed to complete the development. It consists of management
teams, corporate competence, and human resources that are used
to start a company. The non-financial services are the most
important thing that is being concentrated on.

Management power: it includes the ability to

manage the organization , It requires our
entrepreneur's personal capabilities as well as the
organization's squad. Second, we have the ability to
develop and gain new skills. A production
supervisor is needed to oversee the production
department, as well as an RND supervisor to
conduct searches and apply development to discount
cards as needed.
Resource Suffiency : Prepare a list of available
services, which are defined as non-financial. Non-
financial instruments are not monetary in nature.
Land, labour capital machines, and human resources
are all examples. In the other side, we can tell across
Page 5 of 17 Assignment
legal aspects that A discount card corporation must
be registered by the insurance department, post a
bond in the event of a problem, and pass a
background check. They must also hire a personal
counsel for legal work in the event of a problem and
the preparation of legal documents.
The form of capital which can be financial and human and social that
will be required for the discount cards will include
That we must be willing to get out there and talk to the retailers who are
interested in collaborating most of the companies will collaborate
because this is the way they could increase their customer and sales
Will be required a lot of money for the designing, printing cost( some
companies charge retailers who participate a registration fee which also
might help cover the cost of printing )and advertisement of the discount
cards . Keeping the initial investment down and increasing the total
profit Cards should also have an expiry date so retailers or customers
will be vary about participating.
Money is required for the annual promotion of the card and get these
deals running in different cities and towns.
We need to contact local businesses and other businesses it will help
make the conversation simple and easy and the vendor will know what
to expect take support from the existing businesses who are willing to
support and use the help of the supporters who can help in promoting
discount card business
o FINANCIAL FEASIBILITY
We'll need money to print a thousand cool plastic-coated cards
and maybe a flyer and envelope to go with it, or else we'll hire a
company to design discount cards at cheap rate . It would take a
lot of money to design the discount cards, print them (some
firms charge merchants who participate a registration fee, which
can help offset the cost of printing), and market them.
Maintaining a low initial investment while can net benefit Cards
can also have an expiration date so that stores and shoppers can
decide whether or not to participate.

Page 6 of 17 Assignment
Money is a valuable commodity. Money is needed for the card's
annual promotion and to keep these sales going in various cities
and towns.
We ought to make contact with small merchants and other
businesses so that the discussion can be short and
straightforward, and the vendor knows what to expect. enlist the
assistance of existing companies who are able to help, as well as
sponsors who will assist in the promotion of the discount

OUR TARGET MARKET ATTRACTIVENESS :

Employees, teachers, and hardworking employers and as well as
students and old people will benefit from these discount cards.
Since Covid is causing trouble with their budgets and earnings,
discount cards will help them save more money.
Help other businesses : Although it can assist certain brands in attracting
new clients, obtaining repeat buyers necessitates a different mindset.
You're using the discount to promote brand loyalty rather than entice
customers to try your stuff, and it's widely assumed that people are more
drawn to discounted items. Many businesses seek to boost their profits.
