Activity no. 3
Group Activity
SY 2021-2022

Group Members: _________________________ Date: ____________

General Instructions: Follow the link listed below and produce the required output voltage assigned to your
group.

Instructions:

1. Simulate the circuit in Circuit Wizard

2. Input the assigned Voltage Input and produce the required output

3. Use a visual or measuring instrument to verify your output

4. Use the formula to of the voltage divider. Compare the actual output (measured by a voltmeter or
multitester).

5. Send the .cwz (save file of Circuit Wizard) to my email

Email address: cachaguile@carc.pshs.edu.ph

Deadline: October 6, 2021 @ 9:00 AM

Note:

To vary the output of the circuit, you just need to adjust the resistor/s values. You can adjust R1 only, R2 only
or both.

You can use other sources/reference aside from the link posted below

Voltage Dividers

A voltage divider is a simple circuit which turns a large voltage into a smaller one. Using just two series resistors and an
input voltage, we can create an output voltage that is a fraction of the input. Voltage dividers are one of the most
fundamental circuits in electronics. If learning Ohm's law was like being introduced to the ABC's, learning about voltage
dividers would be like learning how to spell cat.
