ASSIGNMENT:

1. Desire Trait of Rizal that you like the most.

-Jose Rizal is one of the most revered figures in the Philippine history. He was
multifaceted intellectual and political activist best known for his political writings that
inspired the Philippine revolution an ultimately led to his execution by the Spanish
colonizers. One of the most desired trait of Jose Rizal that I like the most it's a trait of
“BEING A CREATIVE PERSON”. Dr. Jose Rizal is indeed a creative person.
Knowing that he fought for our country through his writings, he is literary works are
proofs of his creativity. He's indeed a creative person, he is not just a brilliant man
but also a creative person because he made his artworks with a deeper meaning on it.
Because of his creativity he was able to produce lots of novels, arts, and sculptures.
Just like Rizal we must develop the trait of being a creative person “creativity”
because it develops new ideas that has never seen before and its fulfilling and
interesting. The product of creativeness connects us together. It helps us communicate
our thought s we cannot say. In our community, we should develop this kind of trait
because having a creative community creates new solution to the problems of our
community. Our creativity allows us to express ideas and knowledge just like what
Jose Rizal did. I realized that we need to be creative to surpass our limits and form
new ideas that could help us progress in the future. With everyone having a creative
mindset just like Jose Rizal, new ideas can be shared together. Creativity is sometimes
seen as nice-to-do when we have the time luxury. During this pandemic, we face
major challenges, possibly some painful decisions, with difficult prospects ahead, we
need to become a creative person with a creative mindset to respond to the immediate
demands of the lockdown world. In the light of the COVID+19 Pandemic, we must
feel the duty to address this crisis with creativity because living a life with creativity
it's like a life with a reason for hope.
ACTIVITY: PICK FACTS
Jot down Important Thing from the given Motivational Video

In many cases, the real change that needs to take place is in your own attitude. world
is not an easy place to live in sometimes. Not with all of the human suffering and violence
and tragedy we see often everywhere around us. Once we do, the opportunities will arise. Our
new outlook about problems will help us push through them. Our new understanding about
feedback will help us stay unoffendable.

 Keep moving Forward

 Surround Yourself with people you want to be around.
 Be OK what you ultimately can’t do because there is so much you can do.
 Find different way to do something.
 Appreciate your family, friends, neighbor, community because they can bring
positive impact in your life.
 Being brave is not easy that is why surround yourself who you want to be
with.
 The best place to start when you want to achieve success is to stop looking so
intently at the mirror.
 It’s a well-established truth that giving is better than taking. The givers have
actual, real, breathing friends and not just the fake kind on Facebook. If you
want to feel fulfilled in life or work, give back to others and watch as they
support during down periods.
 When we fight it, change tends to overwhelm us and make us sputter into a
pool of regret.
 Change becomes a method of destruction and derails success.
 When we embrace something new and even enjoy the challenge, the real
change happens to us.
 Seek feedback from others so we can figure out how to overcome the
problems that are holding us back from finding true fulfillment and success.
 Feedback is not the enemy. The enemy is not reacting to feedback correctly.
It’s staying stagnant.
ACTIVITY: RIZAL LAW R.A. 1425
Reflection About Rizal Law

José Protasio Rizal Mercado y Alonso Realonda or Jose Rizal was a physician and
novelist, born in the Spanish colony, Filipinas as a “creole” (half Filipino, half Spanish).
Rizal wrote extensively about the abuses of Spanish colonizers to the Philippines, fighting to
reveal their atrocities and inspiring a whole generation towards freedom, therefore becoming
the Philippines’ national hero.

Before taking this course, I’ve never encountered nor got an idea about the
Republic Act 1425 or also known as the Rizal Law. Thanks to this course that I got the
chance to know and have an understanding of such law. I think that this law is very
beneficial especially in lifting our maka-Pilipino spirits and to remind us to look back
and give honor to our national hero, Jose Rizal.

When I was in Grade 9 and 10, we’ve studied about these 2 famous novels of Rizal
but his other works and the story of his life was not given enough time for us to discover. I
think that its great that I got some background knowledge about these novels that might be
helpful in acquiring additional knowledge about these novels and I got also a chance to
know about his other works and his life. I know that its a bit boring when we talk
about history, with so many dates, names and events that are hard to remember since we
haven’t met or experience such person or event.

On the other side, I believe that this law made it interesting as it added the
novels, other works and the story of life of Rizal as these topics has hidden meanings
of their creation, its relation to the society (before, today and in the future), and the story
of the man with a great mind to express his thoughts and fight for our nationality through his
writings until his death. In general, Rizal Law gave us the chance to look back at the
sacrifices of our national hero and bring back the fire of nationalism that is gradually fading
today.

Rizal manifested the highest virtues being a Filipino. He struggled and won in the
face of the most arduous situations, and inspired the Katipunaneros to revolt, and thereby
helped found the first independent Republic of Asia. It was a noble approach and something
unique. Instead of raising arms, he embedded in the Filipino an idea. Unlike warriors, an idea
cannot be killed. It is this reason why Jose Rizal is the national hero of the Philippines.

 This Republic Act calls for an increased sense of nationalism from the Filipinos
during a time of a dwindling Filipino identity.
 The essence of the republic act 1425 in encouraging patriotism is that it gives
opportunity or allow students to see the life of Rizal. Maybe in that simple way
students may be able to understand, learn or even imitate Rizal’s Love to our country
 Rizal Law remains realistic because of the provisions stipulated in the law and that the
stands mentioned justifies why it is to be one despite the concerns in the translation of
the works.
