1. After you have decided on the topic, make sure to narrow it down. Show the process
you did in narrowing down topic. Do this in your notebook.
2. Develop your thesis statement accurately. Make sure to follow the guidelines.
3. Create an outline for your documented essay. Refer to the grading rubrics provided
on the last page.
4. After coming with an outline, start developing your first draft for your documented
essay. Do this in Microsoft Office Word.
5. Start with the introduction first and follow the guidelines
6. In developing the body of your documented essay, make sure to consider various
sources for evidences to strengthen your essay. Do not forget to properly cite sources.
7. Develop your paragraphs with appropriate mode of paragraph development.
8. Observe the proper guidelines in developing your conclusion.
9. Submit your outline and first draft to the teacher’s g-mail account that will be
provided in your Messenger Chat Group. Refer to the grading rubrics provided on the
last page.
