 Today we celebrate the birthday of Rio de Janeiro , the wonderful city ! This beautiful city is
part of the postcard of our country, and has beautiful beaches and attractions known
worldwide. The famous Copacabana beach, the Maracanã Stadium , Christ Redeemer
( largest postcard of the city ) and Sugar Loaf are some of them. The state was the scene of
historical and economic revolutions , and in 2016 the city will host the Olympic Games for
the first time in South America.

The Rio de Janeiro is also known for its famous Carnival. Weeks before this event ,
numerous bands and blocks out the city streets , with thousands of revelers ago . In
