INTRODUCTION :
MR. Gundavaram Bhaskar rao a graduate in agriculture is the main founder
and also the leading promoter of the company.
First he started in own lands of village gatla Narsingapur , Karimnagar dist.
ANDHRA PRADESH.
He started his business of seed production of public bred varieties of corn,
bajra, sunflower.
On August 27, 1986, our Company, promoted by Mr. Gundavaram
Venkata Bhaskar Rao, Mrs. Gundavaram Vanaja Devi & Mr. Rangineni
Venu Manohar Rao, was incorporated as "Kaveri Seed Company
Private Limited" under theCompanies Act, having Registration No.
6728 of 1986-87.

Later on our company was set up in HYDERABAD at Biramulguda in

1997.

In 1999, we increased our seed conditioning capacity to meet the

growing demands by setting up a largescale processing plant at
Kandlakoi near Hyderabad.

In the year 2002, our Promoters entered into acomplementary

business of Bio-Products and Micro-Nutrients for which they set up a
partnership firm under the name and style of M/s. Kaveri Agriteck for
manufacturing and marketing bio-products and micro-nutrients
under the brand 'Microteck'.

We have entered into a sub-licensing agreement with Mahyco

Monsanto Biotech (India) Limited for Bt.transgenic technology for
cotton in the year 2004. A new seed conditioning plant with Cob
Dryers was set up at Gundla Pochampally near Hyderabad in 2005
and in Eluru in Andhra Pradesh in 2006.

At the end of the FY 2006, our Company it has achieved a overall

turn over of more than Rs. 4,800 lakhs. In Sep 2006, the business,
assets and liabilities of M/s. Kaveri Agriteck were acquired by our
company, giving the ability of meeting farmers needs of seeds as well
as plant nutrients that are micro nutrients etc under one subject.

Presently now we are into the of production and marketing of agri-

inputs (seeds of wide range of crops such as corn, sunflower, cotton,
pearl millet, grain sorghum, paddy and hybrid vegetables, and also
micronutrients, bio products and organic products).
