2021-Present - Secretary Sunland Elementary School Site Council - Budgeting of Title I funds, set and
review school goals, develop school safety plan, oversight for the Single Plan for Student Achievement
(SPSA) and its budget, collaborate with other councils and committees
2021-Present - Parent Member Sunland Elementary School Local School Leadership Council -
Budgeting of funds for core school needs, plan professional development schedule, event planning
2017 - Present Direct Giving/Reparations Advocacy - Raised funds for marginalized Black individuals,
including partnering with grassroots direct giving activists and organizations.
2012 - Present Pro Bono Services + Scholarships - Provide pro bono energy healing, voice work, and
other services to marginalized individuals, provide scholarships for private voice lessons
2019 - Volunteer Local Coordinator for Catriceology Workshop - found and communicated with the
local event site, marketed to the community, arranged day-of-event details. Helped raise funds for
scholarships for women of color attendees.
2015 - 2018 Volunteer: Black Lives Matter Pasadena - supported community work, advocacy, and
activism, including clothing and gift drives for local families in need
2010 - Volunteer Choir Tour Assistant for SF State Chamber Singers- Assisted Choir Director in
organizing transportation for a choir tour through Northern California, and assisted during the tour.
2009 - Co-Organized Fundraiser Concert - Successfully led an effort to raise funds and awareness in
order to keep diverse music ensembles funded and active in the SF State Music Department
2001 - Volunteer: Sports Outreach - Three-week trip to Uganda and Rwanda where I led games with
children, assisted in holding community sports events, and supported local organizations.
1999 - Volunteer - Youth With a Mission - Week-long trip to Tijuana, Mexico building homes
