TRAINING OF TRAINERS ON ONLINE TEACHING

To: Schools Division Superintendents

1. This Office, through the Curriculum and Learning Management Division (CLMD) and
in collaboration with the Information and Communications Technology Unit (ICTU), will
conduct a Training of Trainers on Online Teaching on the following dates:

2. The training aims to capacitate the participants on the following:

a. different technologies/applications available for online teaching;

b. functions of the different technologies/applications; and
c. simulation of the actual process of utilizing the technology/application in online
teaching in preparation for the division mass training of teachers.

3. Participants to the said activity are the Division Education Program Supervisors and
one (1) select teacher per subject area. They are advised to register early via this link:

4. Expenses for communication allowance of the Regional supervisors relative to this
activity are chargeable against Regional Funds while communication allowance for school
and division participants are chargeable against school/division MOOE, all subject to the
usual government accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

5. Participants shall receive a certificate of participation for joining the activity. Teacher-
participants shall be entitled to service credits in accordance with DO #53 s. 2003 entitled,
“Granting of Vacation Service Credits to Teachers”.

6. Immediate dissemination of, and compliance with this Memorandum is directed.
