Apple Pay® Installation for MX 800 and MX 900 Series PINpads

Load all files as PARTIAL otherwise the application and images will
be erased and will need to be reloaded.

GEN 2 version (PN: 090-903-00-R) of the contactless reader is NOT

supported.

MX 800 Series PINpads

Use the following steps to load the OS files. The files are located in a compressed
zipped file called Contactless Files for Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, and Android Pay on the
Verifone Premier Portal > Manage > Petro Downloads > MX 800.
1. Make sure that the MX 800 Series PINpad has Service Pack 18 - 1.04 is installed.
It can be found on the Verifone Premier Portal > Manage > Petro Downloads > MX
800.
2. Install the Contactless Firmware CD_CTLS111505B1 or higher

This Firmware stays on the Contactless.

If replaced, then it needs to be reloaded. It can take several
minutes to load the file.

3. Install Library version SC-RFCR_SC-SYSM_01.01_Mx800 (00.04.43) or higher.

This is the library version 00.04.43 that stays on the PIN pad.
It needs to be loaded if PIN pad is replaced.

4. Install the VHQDisableRebootAlert-MaintWindow.tgz file.

This file stays on the PIN pad.

It needs to be loaded if PIN pad is replaced.

 5. After installing the files above, verify that the version info under Contactless
Diagnostics is correct by logging into System Mode > Diagnostics> Manual Diags.
> More Options > Contactless.

6. Install ctlsconfig.tgz

Load this file for non-EMV sites only.

MX 900 Series PINpad

Use the following steps to load the OS files.
1. Download and upgrade the latest OS from the Verifone Premier Portal > Manage
> Petro Downloads > MX 900.
2. Download and install the Hotfix below for OS 30140200 only from the Verifone
Premier Portal > Manage > Petro Downloads > MX 900.

3. Download and install he latest Contactless update below from the Verifone
Premier Portal.
