1 INTRODUCTION
1.1 This EXHIBIT J of the CONTRACT contains the list of SUBCONTRACTORS and VENDORS
APPROVED by COMPANY for the services and supply of equipment for the topside work WORK
requirement.
1.2 CONTRACTOR shall select SUBCONTRACTORS and VENDORS from the list contained herein
for the associated part of the WORK.
1.3 However, CONTRACTOR may propose additional SUBCONTRACTORS and VENDORS for
APPROVAL which shall not be unreasonably withheld.
1.4 COMPANY may exercise the right of APPROVAL for lower tier suppliers supplying
SUBCONTRACTORS. All materials supplied for the WORK shall be new.
1.5 The CONTRACTOR shall not substitute or use any equipment/services without prior APPROVAL.
2.2 In the event CONTRACTOR wishes to introduce new SUBCONTRACTORS and VENDORS into
this EXHIBIT J, CONTRACTOR’s proposal shall meet the criteria listed below:
i. CONTRACTOR shall provide full details (name, contact details, organization,
commercial registrations,…) of the proposed SUBCONTRACTOR or VENDOR,
ii. SUBCONTRACTOR or VENDOR shall be financially sound and solvent,
iii. SUBCONTRACTOR or VENDOR shall have years of experience and customer
references,
iv. SUBCONTRACTOR or VENDOR has been prequalified by CONTRACTOR,
v. CONTRACTOR shall provide satisfactory KPIs on SUBCONTRACTOR or VENDOR
historical deliveries up to the commencement of CONTACT,
vi. CONTRACTOR shall select proposed VENDORS in the view of standardisation with
other similar materials for the PROJECT,
vii. CONTACTOR shall have a documented procedure for selecting and introducing new
SUBCONTRACTORS and VENDORS,
viii. CONTRACTOR shall provide to COMPANY its SUBCONTRACTORS and VENDORS
evaluation and review data,
ix. SUBCONTRACTOR or VENDOR shall be certified ISO 9001 or have a proven Quality
Management System which has been audited by the CONTRACTOR,
x. SUBCONTRACTOR or VENDOR shall be certified OHSAS 18001 or have a proven
HSE Management System which has been audited by the CONTRACTOR,
xi. SUBCONTRACTOR or VENDOR shall be certified ISO 14001 or have a proven
Environmental Management System which has been audited by the CONTRACTOR,
xii. SUBCONTRACTOR or VENDOR shall have availability of after sales support facilities,
xiii. SUBCONTRACTOR or VENDOR shall be able to provide commodity from an
acceptable geographic location,
xiv. SUBCONTRACTOR or VENDOR shall have the ability to provide and maintain a full
logistical support,
xv. SUBCONTRACTOR or VENDOR shall have low operating cost (including cost in
relation to spares) based on actual data obtained from VENDOR,
xvi. Agree to a pre-award Audit by COMPANY, if required, and
xvii. Meet the SPECIFICATION requirements for the commodity.
