Proof of current address (i.e. utility bill, bank statement or council tax bill, dated
within the last 3 months)
At KFH we use HomeLet for referencing all proposed tenants and guarantors on behalf of
our landlords and also for verifying the 'Right to Rent' of all tenants and adult occupants.
We will send you a link to the HomeLet online reference application form and you will need
to complete this urgently, so that your references aren’t delayed.
Manual document: You'll need to provide an original document for each adult that will be
living in the property, showing their continued right to rent in the UK. We will need to be
able to check the document in the presence of the holder. Acceptable documents will vary
depending on your immigration status, see more information: here.

Home Office online check (subject to eligibility): If you have settled or pre settled status
in the UK, hold a biometric residence card or permit, or have applied for a visa and used
the 'UK Immigration: ID Check', we can check your right to rent status via the Home Office
online portal. You'll need to provide copy of your photo ID and Home Office share code,
which you can obtain here. If you are unable to provide us with a share code, then we will
need to carry out the manual checks mentioned above.

If you do not think you have the correct documents to show your right to rent, please
notify us immediately.
If any adult living in the property has time limited right to rent which expires during the
proposed tenancy, you will be required to provide evidence of your continued right to rent
when requested.
In order to speed up the signing process we use a digital signature service called Signature
Sense. This allows you to review and sign your tenancy documents safely and securely
online, we will email you a secure link to your documents.
We will execute (date) the tenancy agreements as soon as we receive both signed copies of
the agreement and before the start date of the tenancy, so long as all other necessary
documents are in place and we have received your full initial payment. If you do not wish
us to execute the tenancy agreement at this stage, then please let us know now and
we will not do so until we receive your further instructions. Please note that once the
agreements are executed you will have entered into a binding contract with the
landlord.
This information is your personal data and will be sent to selected third parties for
verification purposes. The information will be processed by us so that we can fulfil our
regulatory and contractual obligations but no information will be sent or processed outside
the European Economic Area.
