PEMBAHASAN

A. Countable nouns
Countable nouns are nouns that can be calculated, which can indicate the quantity or
amount.
Example : pen, cat, dog, man, animal, house, store etc.
“we can see a man from the distance”.
It’s a noun that can count the times. As the example says earlier, the woerd “a” in that
example means “the one” who indicates the objeck seen is one. In contable nouns, of
course they can use the mention of a man because his is something that counts, not
specks.
B. Uncountable Nouns
Uncountable Noun arethe opposite of countable nouns. The nouns cannotbe
calculated.
Example : water, sand, air, rice, sugar, cheese, tea, coffee. We can say “I need sugar
for my coffee”
We cannot say a water or two of water, but rather should be used in conjunction with
other nouns that can be calculated, for example: “A glass of water or two glasses of
water”.
Because, for example sand is a particle which of course cannot be calculated. So of
course can’t someone say i need a sund but someone will say i need a sand truck. So
there was a conjunction of media relations.
Other than that, in uncountable nouns there are also nouns that refer to abstract and
emotion. Example : fun, advice, knowlege, love and happines.
C. Singular Nouns
Singular is the word used to mention word example : a computer, a chair, a player, a
teacher, a taxi, etc.
Singular nouns are nouns that indicate that noun is singular or not more than one or
more singular nouns in short. For example “a” or “an”.

“rice” to make it a plural, because the word “rice” is in the plural.

To make plural forms, there are several rules:

Box-boxes
Watch-watches
 For nouns ending in f or fe, change f to v and add es.
Wolf-wolves
Knife-knives
 Some nouns have different plural forms.
Child-children

Foot-feet
 Nouns ending in vowels like y or o do not have definite rules.

Toy-toys
Family-families
