Module 5 in Personality Development

Juliana Maureen A. Serrano

11-Harmony

What’s More

1. The objects that I’ll include in my stress survival kit are a phone filled with music with an
earphone, my favorite books, art stuffs and a pen and paper or notes in my phone.
2. These things help me cope up with stress since I feel calm and relaxed whenever I do things that
I love. It helps me to calm myself and focus on other things rather than thinking about my
problems.
3. Having my stress survival kit helps me to forget my problems or it helps me to focus on other
things that is more worth it to be in focus of. I love listening to music to the point that I always
want a phone and an earphone in my pocket. Honestly, I’m not that much into music but I love
listening to music when it’s a BTOB song. It is a K-pop group where you can feel at home and in
comfort whenever you’re listening to it. Even though I don’t know the lyrics since it is a Korean
song, the way they deliver their songs felt like the message is being translated to a language that
my heart only knows. I also loved reading that to the point that I have collected a lot of books.
Whenever I am reading there’s a weird feeling that I feel like I’m escaping the reality which
makes me feel less stressed because sometimes I’m so immersed in the story. I love painting
because doing art is therapeutic but the most thing that I loved the most is writing all of my
feelings in a paper. There were times that I want to share my problems and there were times that
I don’t want so I just decided to write or vent out all of my frustrations in a piece of paper.
Where I can cry or feel anything that I want to feel without being actually judged by the people
that surrounds me.

Activity 3

7 – struggling to meet your academic standards

6 – dissatisfaction with your physical appearance
5 – conflicts with family members
4 – not having enough money
3 – dissatisfaction with your athletic skills
2 – having your trust betrayed by a friend
1 – conflicts with a boyfriend or girlfriend

We almost have the same answers but except for the conflict with a boyfriend and the dissatisfaction
with athletic skills. I think, she don’t think or she’s not stressed about thinking her dissatisfaction with
her athletic skills because she’s athletic. While for the conflict with a boyfriend, that was the lowest
point in my ratings because for me I don’t have someone with me or I don’t engage into relationships as
of the moment that’s why having a conflict with a boyfriend isn’t stressing me out since I don’t have a
boyfriend the first place.

Mother – Daily expenses.

Father – Daily expenses
Brother – being not able to understand the lessons fast.
Sister – Academics.
Grandparent – body pains. They tend to feel body pains as they grow old
You – Academics and the household chores.
