Students will work towards producing a form
of text/print that will aim to inform an
audience about the key features of a planet.
Students will then aim to persuade and
convince their audience to visit that planet
using their information gathered during their
research.
Choose appropriate units of measurement for
length, area, volume, capacity, and
mass (ACMMG108)
During measuring activity (lesson 2) students
will be required to use an appropriate form of
measurement in order to achieve an accurate
distance. Students will need to understand
scaling which includes using a particular unit
of measurement such as 1cm = 1AU

Geography
Features of environments (e.g., climate, landforms, vegetation) influence
human activities and the built features of places (ACHASSK113)
Students will undergo a task which requires them to complete research which
allows them to discover key features of their chosen planner including the
different climates, landforms, along with identifying whether or not there is
human activity located.
