Fiery Color Test Page Description
This color test page provides a variety of both CMYK and RGB reference images, as well as
color wedges for quality control and compliance with industry references and standards.

The border surrounding the images
contains 25% black (K). It may contain
some additional CMY values at print time,
depending on your gray-and-black settings
in Job Properties or in Fiery® Color Setup.
If you have built a custom output profile in
Fiery Color Profiler Suite, and selected the
Use Max GCR option, you will see very little
or no additional CMY values.
An RGB image in the sRGB color space. The sky
should be blue with neutral clouds. The grass
should have a bright green appearance with clear
details. Other colors should be vibrant.
The left side of this photograph is a CMYK image, separated for GRACoL Coated with an
embedded profile. The right side is a grayscale image. The two sides shouldn’t appear
the same — the left side should be neutral when compared to the right side. The left
side can come closest to matching the right side when printed using a custom profile
built in Fiery Color Profiler Suite with the Use Max GCR option.
The spot colors on the left are set to
overprint. When processed correctly,
using Composite Overprint, a third color is
introduced where two spot colors overlap.

Coated. You should be looking at good skin
tones with smooth transitions.
This measurement wedge can be used with
Fiery Color Profiler Suite to verify that the
print engine is in compliance with industry
standards such as SWOP and GRACoL. To
use the three-row wedge, you need to use
Color Profiler Suite v4.6 or above.

The skin tones should be smooth with good
detail.

An RGB image in the sRGB color space. The
print should be holding some detail in shadow
areas.
A CMYK image, separated for GRACoL
Coated. The print should be holding some
detail in highlight areas, and no color cast
(neutral light areas).
This target is used in the G7 grayscale
appearance calibration process. You will need
a third-party measurement application to read
the target and software such as Curve3 to
analyze the data.
