The presence of Cooperativism within KMKM towards our Neighborhood:

Although, we are under the Enhanced Community Quarantine, in our own

little way, we responded the call of our nature of Cooperativism.

In one of the alleys of Pinagsabugan, Malabon City, with the collaboration

of our neighbors, we were able to distribute some essentials to the less
fortunate residents. Repacked rice (2 kilos) was distributed and we also
cooked porridge and arrozcaldo with egg for at least 58 families in the alley.

Since Kabalikat Mo, Kabalikat Ko, Phils. Advocacy Cooperative is just

currently at the 4th month after its conception when ECQ was declared, the
cost for most of the activities here came from own pockets.

As an advocacy cooperative with CLIMATE CHANGE as our Advocacy, we

are already at the tarmac taxing our way towards the runway for takeoff,
yet HALT was issued instead of a CLEARANCE FOR TAKE OFF, and with this
PANDEMIC occurring, which we can consider the fourth in every hundred
years (1720 PLAGUE, 1820 CHOLERA, 1920 SPANISH FLU, 2020 COVID
19), it gave us the leverage to strengthen our arsenal in battling and our
dissemination campaign for our CLIMATE CHANGE AWARENESS and
CONCRETE SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS, all of which our future endeavors
were moved to a later date due to COVID 19 (SARS CoV2), and through
cooperation shall we rise after this pandemic and show our nation and
perhaps the world of what the strength of a Cooperative truly is.

Kabalikat Mo, Kabalikat Ko,

Phils. Advocacy Cooperative
