JOB RESPONSIBILITY AS MAINTENANCE ENGINEER:

 Currently working in EMD, undertaking maintenance of equipment in BTG & 400 KV

Switchyard area.
 Good understanding of protection scheme, line drawings of switchyard and HT & LT
switchgear panel, and having working experience of numerical relay setting
parameterization.
 Preparing schedules for preventive maintenance, checklists for daily, weekly or monthly
checks for equipment supervision and ensuring strict implementation.
 Analysing maintenance issues, root cause analysis and carrying out modifications and
CA/PA to ensure zero forced outage.
 Familiar with PERMIT TO WORK system, safety isolations, standard operating
procedures (SOP), SAP environment and spare parts inventory management.

 Have first-hand experience in testing and commissioning of 400 KV, 12 Bay

SWITCHYARD of SIEMENS make one and half breaker scheme.
 Involved in testing and commissioning of Generating transformers (400/21 KV, 3*250
MVA), unit & station transformer (21/11 KV, 50 MVA each), Unit auxiliary
transformers (11/6.6 KV, 16.5 MVA) – BHEL, and their control and protection schemes.
 Commissioning experience of 600 MW BHEL make, Water cooled stator, H2 cooled
rotor Turbo- generator and brushless excitation system.
 Testing and commissioning experience of SIEMENS, BHEL make HT switchgear, 11 KV &
6.6 KV HT motors and LT motors of various auxiliaries, and emergency DC systems.
 Have experience in testing and commissioning of High capacity emergency DG system
(2*2000 KVA), and 11 KV Bus transfer system.
ACHIEVEMENTS:-

 Coordinated and executed successful back charging of 400 KV double circuit JITPL -
PGCIL ANGUL LINE & PGCIL ANGUL – JITPL – PGCIL BALANGIR LILO LINE.
 Successfully coordinated in execution of Boiler light up, Steam Blowing,
Synchronization and full load of Unit #1, #2 600 MW units of JITPL.
