Course Description This course introduces key aspects of Internet of Things (IoT), including IoT
systems architecture, Hardware platforms, Networking paradigms for IoT,
Cloud integration. Students also design, build, evaluate, document, and
demonstrate an IoT prototype.
Course Objectives
Course Outcomes CO1: Understand of the Internet of Things concept and systems
architecture;
CO2: Operate with wireless technologies and networking protocols specific
to IoT systems;
CO3: Familiar with different cloud integration methods;
CO4: Design, implement, and test a simple IoT system equipped with
sensors and wireless transceivers;
CO5: Designing and implementing an IoT project;
CO6: Write technical documentation of a project and present results
obtained.
