Introduction
Screen default authoring
In release 12.0.23, the Screen dictionary has been updated with authoring capabilities to
add a “Break after” a field or make it “Hideable”.

The existing json files provided for the addon screen authoring can still be used, or you can
use the “Default” screen and modify the screen dictionary for authoring.

North America Add-ons

Add-ons that are licensed for Version 12.0.0 are:

XA00 – Common elements (required for all add-ons)

XA01 – ADC/RF Warehousing
XA14 – Import Tracking

Pre-requisites
Core 12.0.23 patches and technical components are installed

A new License plate number feature delivered in the core ADC functions. This feature is not
supported in the NA Addon ADC/RF warehousing. To continue using the NA Addon in
V12.0.18 or higher, set the license plate number field in Product categories to “optional”.

management Implementation Guide located in the On-line Help Center How To section.

New Add-on Installation

Important: NA Add-on patches should not be installed from the X3 reference folder. These
add-on patches should only be installed from the child folder(s) and applied to the child
folder(s).

1. Install new NA Add-on license

a. Create a new directory named ‘naaddons’ on the process server runtime folder.
(\Sage\X3RUNTIME\runtime\naaddons)

b. Place the license file named serial_sageNA to the ‘naaddons’ folder.

2. Install XA00 Common elements.

3. Install the remaining licensed NA Add-ons.

4. Import the corresponding personalization management file for each add-on.

(Go to Import Personalization section to see how to import)

 5. Log out and Log back into Sage X3. Failure to do so may result in errors.

Upgrading NA Add-ons to V12

Important: NA Add-on upgrade patches should not be installed from the X3 reference
folder. These add-on patches should only be installed from the child folder(s) and applied
to the child folder(s).

1. Refer to the HTG-Upgrading NA Add-ons to Version 12 and HTG-Credit Card Add-

on Upgrade to V12 before proceeding.

2. Copy the existing license file from the previous installation.

a. Create a new directory named ‘naaddons’ on the process server runtime folder.
(\Sage\X3RUNTIME\runtime\naaddons)

b. Copy the existing license file named serial_adonixNA to the ‘naaddons’ folder
and then rename it to serial_sageNA.

3. Install XA00 Common elements.

4. Install the remaining licensed NA Add-ons.

5. Import the corresponding personalization management file for each add-on.

6. Log out and log back into Sage X3. Failure to do so may result in errors.

NA Service pack for existing add-ons

Important: NA Add-on service pack patch should not be installed from the X3 reference
folder. This add-on patch should only be installed from the child folder(s) and applied to the
child folder(s).

1. Core patch installation is completed.

2. Install the NA Add-on service pack if applicable.

3. Refer to the Sage X3 Version 12.0.XX NA Release Notes for the list of corrections
included in this service pack.

 4. Log out and log back into Sage X3. Failure to do so may result in errors.

Import Personalization
Administration > Utilities > Imports > Import Tool

1. Import the Common Elements XA00.json.

2. For ADC add-on, import the files in the following order:

1. XA01a.json
2. XA01b.json
3. XA01c.json
4. XA01d.json
5. XA01e.json
6. XA01f.json

3. For Import Tracking add-on, import XA14.json.
