New Jubilee Insurance Company
NJI is the third (03) largest insurance company of Pakistan
, established in 1953 with its Head Office in Karachi and
branches throughout Pakistan . The Company is listed on
stock exchange at Karachi & Lahore.

Major shareholders include:


 Aga Khan Fund for Economics Development
 Hashoo Group.
NJI, with its Head Office in Karachi, has an extensive and
dynamic branch network in all major cities and towns of
Pakistan that guarantees prompt service at the customer’s
doorstep.
The company prides itself in its long-standing reinsurance
arrangements and relationship with international renowned
reinsurers. The company is also supported by
internationally acclaimed reinsurance brokers including
AON Group, Willis, Marsh and UIB. NJI has developed
unique and innovative insurance solutions to meet the
growing consumer financing trends of economy. From
auto financing to personal loans, mortgages to plastic
cards, and trade finance to capital investment finance, NJI
has the customized solutions to secure entire operations.

MetLife Alico
MetLife Alico first started its operation in Pakistan in1952
and continued until 1972, when the life insurance industry
was nationalised. By that time, the MetLife Alico had
issued 72,000 policies and had invested more than USD
36 million in the country’s economy. After
denationalisation, MetLife Alico became the first foreign
life insurer that had been granted a license in 1994 to
operate in Pakistan. It commenced the operations on May
25, 1995 with a paid up capital of PKR 130 million. Today
it is the largest capitalized private sector multinational life
insurance company in Pakistan with a paid-up capital of
PKR 500 million. MetLife Alico Pakistan is a listed
company jointly owned by its American parent and the
Pakistani public. Along with commitment, it brings to
Pakistan extensive international experience and modern
technology to conduct the insurance business in a
sophisticated and professional manner. 
EFU Insurance Company

In 1972, the life assurance business was nationalised but


EFU continued as a general insurance company.  Today,
it is Pakistan’s second-largest general insurer.
Efu company is the largest private sector life assurance
company in Pakistan with a sales force of over 1,500
people and over 50% share of the life insurance business.

EFU General Insurance


The shares of the company are quoted on the Karachi and
Lahore Stock Exchanges. EFU Insurance Group is one of
the few Pakistani insurance organisations run entirely by
professional management and with a highly-motivated
field force. EFU General has obtained Insurer Financial
Strength Rating of ‘AA Stable Outlook’ by the rating
agency JCR-VIS.

EFU Life is the first life insurance company in


Pakistan to be awarded the ISO 9001:2000
certification.
