1. თუ არსებითი სახელი მთავრდება y-ზე, გვაქვს ორნაირი შემთხვევა:
1. Boy, day, toy - ხმოვანს +y -- ასეთ შემთხვევაში სიტყვებს ემატებათ s. Boys, days, toys
2. Baby, party - თანხმოვანს + y -- ასეთ შემთხვევაში y იცვლება ie-თი და ისე ემატება
s.  Baby – babies, party – parties
1. თუ არსებითი სახელი მთავრდება f  ან fe დაბოლოებებზე, მრავლობითში
გადაკეთდება ves დაბოლოებად:

Shelf – shelves
Wife – wives
1. გვაქვს რამდენიმე არაწესიერი მრავლობითის ფორმა:
Man – men მენ-მენ
Woman – women  ვუმენ-ვიმინ
Child – children
