The work of “Widening from Double lane with paved shoulder upto
drain in Km 3/2-5/0 (Built up area of Madurai City) of NH 49 (New NH No. 87)
including way side amenities, Construction of drain cum footpath and Junction
Improvement” has been awarded to the Contractor M/s. Vignessh & Co., Madurai
in the reference 2nd cited.

In continuation of the above, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Melur


has been accorded permission to remove the trees, making hindrance to the above
road work, located within the carriage way of the proposed road project in the
reference 3rd cited. Moreover, the permission has also been granted to remove the
felling trees by the Superintending Engineer (NH), Madurai in the reference 4 th cited
subject to condition that the amount of remittance to the Government towards
felling of the trees should not be less than the amount approved by the Revenue
Divisional Officer, Melur.
Hence, it may be informed to the Contractor to remit the felling tree
cost, in the Bharath Kosh portal of Government of India, approved by the Revenue
Divisional Officer, Melur and the receipt of remittance may please be submitted
early.
