Processing Questions:
1. My most important role in the family is to help, respect, and love them,
because they’re the one who’s always there to support and to help me in
everything I do. While in the community, my most important role is to follow
the rules or the laws in our community, because this will help to maintain the
peace in our community.
2. My role in the family is harder and different from my role in the community,
because as a child I really do treasure my family. I will be giving my best just
to help and support them. While in the community, my role is to follow the
laws and to help the people living here to be kind and better and also to help
in maintaining the surroundings clean and beautiful.
3. I won’t change any of my roles because I believe that I was born with a
purpose and responsibility not just in my family but also in the community.
Areas of Changes Your Old Self (Grade 7) Your Present Self (Grade 10)
You can do it
1. I’ll help my siblings first because I know that I already know what their lesson is
and it will be easy for me to help them. Then after that I’ll do mine.
2. I will tell them that I cannot join them and focus on my modules and if ever I'd
finish answering it earlier than the time I expected, I would use my free time in
helping them.
3. I'll tell her that because we're still in the grip of a terrible epidemic, I might not be
able to attend her 18th birthday celebration. I'll express it in a polite manner. I'll
also inform her that the government has put in place specific health standards,
and parties are not permitted. Instead, I'll assist her in coming up with a theme for
her party while adhering to all safety precautions.
I, John Jason P. Dimapilis, 15 years old, a Grade 10 learner commit to practice self-
discipline through: (1) self-control, (2) following my schedules, and (3) submitting my
reports on time.

I'm thrilled and driven to play an essential part in my family and community. These
obligations and priorities motivate me to complete any task that is assigned to me.
I'm excited because I'm starting to plan how I can aid my family and neighborhood.
I will embrace these duties fully since I know that my family and community are
always there for me and support me anytime I need it. I'll make sure everything is
in order, and I'll manage things maturely. I'm also motivated because I know that
these jobs will make me stronger and more disciplined in the future.
I am also challenged. After all, I am afraid that what I am doing will not help because
I am young and am not completely aware of some of the things I am doing, but I am
doing my best to be good to my family and community. After giving thought to what
has been spoken, I vow to be a good son to my family and a good citizen to my
community by supporting them in achieving their goals. I take responsibility since
I used to feel that my family and community should serve me because I was still
young, but now I know that I must care for both of them.
