Processing Questions:

1. What did you discover about you and your family while doing the activity? One
thing I've discovered about my family is that we all have specific duties that we must
carry out. Along with that I've discovered that we're having a great time doing it.

2. How does having similar or different duties unite your family? Having diverse
responsibilities strengthens our family because if one person cannot accomplish
something, another can help. So, every time we support each other, our family can
virtually do anything.

3. What is the importance of recognizing and respecting the roles of family members
in strengthening your relationships? Knowing and honoring our family's roles
strengthens us since there will be no misconceptions if we respect one another.

Processing Questions:

1. How did you feel while doing the activity? It feels so overwhelming knowing that my
friends are always there for me.

2. What is the importance of recognizing your similarities and differences in strengthening

your relationship with others? Recognizing our similarities and differences from others will
aid us in identifying who we are and, subsequently, appreciating the fullness of our
existence. Our uniqueness is essential for us to establish ourselves and avoid comparing
ourselves to others.

3. How will you inspire others to respect individual differences? By starting with myself, I will
inspire others to respect individual diversity. Respect implies that you agree to consider
other people's points of view, even if they differ from your own, and that you are willing to
disagree healthily. Respect in relationships fosters sentiments of trust, safety, and well-
being. Disagreements may occur everywhere; they might happen at home, in the
community, or at school. Constructive criticism will aid a person's professional and personal
growth.

What I have Learned

ADVOCACY POSTER
Share your Thoughts & Feelings

Being different from others is not an excuse to treat them with contempt. To
avoid offending someone, we should think before we say anything about them. We can
use pleasant words to make them feel better.

When I witness individuals mistreating others. Many individuals, especially on

social media, enjoy body shaming others. They criticize their body color, the foods they
eat, the clothing brands they wear, and their physical attractiveness. That's why I've
learned to appreciate those that deserve it.

My mother taught me that if someone disrespects you, you should ask them if
they are okay. Allow them to become aware of how harmful they are. Then don't speak
to them again.
